The Liebherr Group is a multinational German organisation started by Hans Liebherr in 1949. The overall holding company is still wholly owned by the Liebherr family.Primarily based in the construction and mining industry, Liebherr started life focusing on the manufacture of low-cost tower cranes, but rapidly expanded into excavators, large loaders and dump trucks.
Especially noted for extreme-size equipment Liebherr’s range currently boasts one of the largest dump trucks in the world - the T 282 B. The LTM series of mobile cranes now also includes the vast LTM 11200-9.1 which, with a boom reach of over 300ft is the world’s largest mobile crane.
