Samoter 2008 Sees Caterpillar Backhoe Loader Display 11/03/2008

The Samoter 2008 exhibition is taking place in Verona, in Italy, and looks set to feature the leading construction equipment and machinery manufacturer, Caterpillar, who will exhibit a range of products, including their backhoe loaders.

Caterpillar will be exhibiting their backhoe loaders under the theme of ‘Your Success, Our Commitment’ and will have a large quantity of floor space in which to exhibit their wares, including backhoe loaders and tractors. Aside from backhoe loaders, Caterpillar will also be exhibiting skid-steer loaders, multi-terrain loaders, telehandlers and paving products.

Machine demos of the backhoe loaders and other instruments will occur, encouraging customers to purchase the machine by demonstrating their functionality.

Caterpillar owns a plant in Brazil which manufactures backhoe loaders. The manufacturing plant, located near Piracicaba has reportedly been in function for over 50 years. The plant, alongside backhoe loaders, also manufactures hydraulic excavators and track-type tractors.

It has been reported that the plant in Brazil which manufactures backhoe loaders employs up to 5000 people. These employees would be involved in some way with the manufacture of backhoe loaders and other machinery, as the plant manufactures up to 28 different machine models.
